Montana: SCI joined 12 other hunting and conservation organizations in testimony opposing SB 533, which would repeal nonresident college student hunting licenses at a reduced cost and limit nonresidents to 14 days under a permit.
Maine: SCI President Sven Lindquist submitted a letter in opposition LD 814 which would reduce the current year-round coyote season by more than half and significantly hamstring the Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife’s (DIFW) ability to appropriately manage coyote populations.
